Attire

Rigodon Dance (year 3 student with her father / male elder): Barong tagalog with long sleeves for father / male elder
Cotillon Dance (year 3 student with male escort): coat and tie and black leather shoes for male escort
Year 3 students: cocktail dress; spaghetti strap allowed. Skirt length: below the knees, above the ankles. No bustier, tube, backless, cleavage-showing dresses. Any color is allowed.
Mothers: Decent, formal cocktail dress, no gowns.

Special Events

Head: Jean Ong
This committee has the task of organizing the special event for the evening: slide show of year 3 students' photos from childhood, grade school and high school (current). Sir Noli, computer teacher at SSC-W, will organize the photos into a slide show.

Parents are requested to submit scanned photographs or digital photos of the year 3 students to Sir Noli's e-mail address: nolimacnoli@yahoo.com or submit them in a cd to Ms. Leah who will forward them to Sir Noli.

Note: Students from groups 1 or 2 who were absent from their scheduled practice days may catch up with Ms Fritzy on Fridays in school. They will be taught their original dance steps. They will not join groups 3 or 4.
Please bring your own water / drinks, morning snack, lunch and afternoon snack for said practice days.

Ballroom Decoration











Head: Beng Rivera
This committe has the task of providing decoration for the ballroom, in terms of flowers, ribbons, and the tarpauline sign with the words "Welcome to the Quinciniera of Batch 2007-8..."
William Samiano (care of Pam Alcasid) has been contracted to provide the following - centerpiece for 30 tables, flower and ribbons decor for main doorway & 58 peach roses with ribbon, combination of low and high glass vases. Fee - P10T.
Tarpauline sign is being sourced out.




Program and Souvenirs




Heads: Glenda Punzalan (Souvenirs) and Rhea Rodrigo-Deveras (Program)
The Program Committee has the task of providing a program of the ceremonies for the Quincenera evening. Both parents and students will have a copy of this program and may follow it throughout the evening for an accurate flow of events.
The Souvenir Committee has the task of providing souvenirs for year 3 students and male escorts.
Program -- done by home printer, then mass produced through a special photocopier using special paper. Reference: program of ceremonies used by the previous batch care of Pinky Quintana, Year 3 parent president last schoolyear.
Souvenirs -- For year 3 students: a sort of mini-yearbook in cd form (containing 3 photos and a short write-up of each year 3 student with background music).
Please submit all write-ups about and photos of year 3 students to Sir Noli through his e-mail address: nolimacnoli@yahoo.com
For male escorts -- a music cd burned by a parent with a cd writer. Need to purchase the blank cds. Choice of music by year 3 students.
Special Thanks to Doy Velando for print-out of the program and reproducing 120 plus programs with the use of a special photocopier.

Sounds and Lights


Head: Janet Ocampo
This committee has the task of providing a sound system and lights for the whole night: for the Cotillon and Rigodon dances as well as the free dancing after dinner.
The services of CAC (Carlo A. Clemente) Professional Lights and Sounds have been contracted for this.
This outfit is usually hired by Alabang Country Club ballroom leasers. Very familiar with ingress, pull-out of equipment, rules & restrictions of the Club, and sound requirements of the ballroom. Will provide LCD projector and wide screen as well.

This committee has the task of choosing the menu type from the 15 choices available to us.
The committee heads chose Menu 1 from among the 15 menus available. Buffet type. Price per plate: P600.

Invitations

Head: Isa Yguico

This committee has the task of providing invitations for the year 3 students' parents and male escorts.
Isa Yguico provided the invitations for the present batch's graduation from grade school. The picture above shows a sample of the invitation to be used for the Quincenera. Paper - shimmery gold. Ribbon - silver. The name of the person / people invited will be printed on the front flap, center.
Special Thanks to Isa Yguico for providing the paper, ribbon and printing services (using her home computer) for 116 invitations.


Photography and Video


This committee has the task of providing photography and video services for the Quincenera event. The students will have photos of the event: of various sizes & different poses (solo, with male escort, with family members & group shot of all year 3 students) as well as an edited recording of the event on dvd.
The services of Ms. Liza Reyes have been contracted for photos and video.
Special Thanks to Sherry Jimenez for partial payment of the fee for the Photography and Video services of Ms. Liza Reyes.

Reception

This committee has the task of organizing the reception tables where the students, their dates and family members will register upon arrival at the Quincenera.

Year 3 Advisers Ms Josephine Custodio and Ms Whenn Pena will be seated at the reception tables to receive the guests & assist them in registration.

Transportation for Sisters and Teachers


Head: Beng Rivera
This committee has the task of providing transportation for the sisters and teachers to Alabang Country Club on February 23, 2008 for the Quincenera event. Other details (Ex. possible stop-overs) will be ironed out later on.
